Our team at Tranmere Village Medical Centre consists of our wonderful and welcoming receptionists, Kim, Malea and Shannon, our knowledgeable and helpful Practice Nurse, Michelle, and our understanding and supportive Practice Manager, Leah.
Everyone in our team is happy to assist you with any queries or concerns you may have to help make your visit as pleasant as possible.
Our team all conduct continuing education activities to ensure they are kept up to date with the latest health information.

It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. If you do not wish to have your record reviewed please inform your doctor. For further information see our Privacy Policy.
We would also appreciate you letting us know if you change any of your details i.e. address/phone number, new medicare/concession cards.
We pride ourselves on our ease of access being open Monday to Saturday.
We also offer same day appointments! Appointments can be made during office hours listed below or online via HotDoc.
Please let the staff know when booking your appointment if you require a longer appointment time.
If you are unable to attend for your appointment please advise our receptionists as soon as possible to avoid a non-cancelation fee, which is not claimable on Medicare.
This practice has a computerised reminder system for preventative activities such as cholesterol checks, mammograms, pap smears, flu vaccinations, annual diabetes checks etc. as part of this practice’s preventative medicine program. Please let staff know if you do NOT wish to remain on the system. SMS reminders are also used for appointment reminders.

Telephone calls may interrupt consultations and inconvenience other patients. We are happy to take a message to pass on to our doctors, returning phone calls will be up to the individual doctor. Please note it is not possible to make a diagnosis over the phone.
Patients are asked to make an appointment with their doctor to discuss health issues of a non-urgent nature in order not to breach Patient Privacy Policy.
For your safety and for medico-legal reasons you will need to see your doctor for any referrals or prescriptions.
